A coordinated care pathway

A tripartite agreement signed in December 2025 organises the care pathway for patients undergoing lamellar corneal transplantation between Montpellier University Hospital, Clinique de la Vision Montpellier and Polyclinique Saint-Roch.

The graft is transported from the university hospital tissue bank by an authorised carrier. It is prepared in a suitable technical environment at Clinique de la Vision and then transferred to Polyclinique Saint-Roch, where Dr Clair-Florent Schmitt-Bernard performs the procedure.

Traceability and responsibilities

The agreement defines responsibilities, traceability and transport conditions at every stage. The source document reproduces the presentation published by Polyclinique Saint-Roch and is available in French.
